First of all, I'd like to thank the good people of BasketballValue.com for all of the data I used for this visualization.
Second, I'd like to thank my kids, who have helped me remember how much I love the NBA.
Third, I'd like to thank steve.lucas who made this possible and who inspired my SCNotty submission.
Fourth, to Nic Smith, et al, for making this worth a t-shirt.
Now that I've gotten the Sally Fields out of my system, let's get down to business.
The video is a 4x speed walk-through of me taking a stab at Visi. The idea was that I'd try to see where I should go and see the Heat play, based upon publicly available NBA data. After pulling in the NBA data, I applied a few filters, created a few measures, and took a quick peak at who we scored big against.
Update: I guess you could say I did OK on this one, but I'm feeling even better about the 2013 version.
