To get correct values in Summary BOBJ WEBI reports by using Bex query

This blog will help to understand logic involved to get correct values in BOBJ WEBI reports.

Step1) Bex query at detail level has two KF’s ie. Sales qty, Basic price

Material, Customer ID and Sales Representative ID as characteristics in Row.

Ex Bex Query

2) Expected out put from the above query in BOBJ WEBI report by multiplying Sales Qty X Basic material Price is given below

Sales Reprensentative. ID	Sales Revenue
SREP08	4
SREP09	7.5
SREP10	65
SREP11	2
Grand Total	78.5

3) WEBI report Out put:

Webi report has been created by using above Bex query and out put for the same is given below & which is not matching to our requirement as shown above.

4)To get correct result, please create one CKF in Bex query

1. i.e. Sales Qty * Basic Price as shown in below

5) Refresh Universe.

6) Modify Webi report for addition of new CKF field.

Now check the WEBI result with respect to expected result in step 2. both are matching.

Note:  In this step , care has to be taken to add all the Bex query characteristic in Webi Query area  otherwise report will give wrong results again.
