SCN,Twitter,Facebook, LinkedIn ...so many option to Login

Just hit scn.sap.com and saw option to Login with Google...

At First it was just scn. and then Twitter.

Facebook,LinkedIn, Google... the List just increses with the passage of Time...

what are we trying to acheive here. How do you decide which one will be added in the list...

Funny thing is... I log on to Facebook with google account.......and then log into SCN with Facebook acccount..

So there is a need for a Universal Userid/pwd to access all these popular Websites..... (Identity Management????)
