SAP saluting the new ERA with New Logo

People like me who shaped their life with SAP strongly believes that change is part of ERP business. I have started work with SAP in 1995 with R/3  version 2.2C. Those years SAP R/3 known as very complicated and giant software, and only could be used by Industry giants. Only engineering and accounting departments' selected and well trained employees were nominated as 'users'. Many editions and releases were announced during the decades: New functions and technologies were announced in each and every edition or release.

However, SAP never managed to change the common perception of being too complex.

Last year ( at least for me) things were changed dramatically, SAP started a metamorphosis, started a war against complexity, stated that SAP will be a Cloud company. Fiori became license free, Business by design started to shape the cloud offerings, simple and smart solutions were announced.

Now SAP is fresh, agile and smart company, anybody can consume any SAP product easily from anywhere ( Cloud offerings, Successfactors, C4C..). Any developer from anywhere can release a game-changing product by using SAP HANA Cloud Platform (PaaS)

Finally SAP started a war against complexity and winning the battles one by one.

It is time to salute the new flag. Welcome new, fresh and simple SAP.
