Time has flown by and we're only 6 weeks away from this year's first SAP TechEd in Las Vegas.  The SAP TechEd Speaker of the Week program has hosted 11 superstar speakers so far:

Mike Eacrett Ingo Hilgefort David Birkenbach Kristian Lehment Peter McNulty Christina Miller Rich Heilman Tammy Powlas Matthias Melich & John Krakowski Sindhu Gangadharan and Yariv Zur.  Thank you to the SCN community for showing much interest and giving these speakers a great reception.

But, if you thought we ran out of remarkable expert speakers, think again.  This week's featured speaker is Director of Product Management and Strategy for SAP HANA, prasad.illapani. Prasad is a Database Platforms Technology expert focusing on Data Acquisition, Data Management, and integration topics of SAP HANA.  He holds a master’s degree in computer science and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and is a regular speaker at SAP TechEd.  Yet, he still finds time to give back to his community as VP and board member of the Washington State Community for South Indians.

"The Innovations going into TechEd is SAP HANA SP 06 features and also how to integrate data from multiple Sybase software like SAP Sybase Replication Server.  Attendees always come back to my sessions because I bring in new topics.  People always want to learn something new aboiut what they're currently working on.  The biggest value (about coming to SAP TechEd) is to explore the different technology areas in the sessions...and how can the new technological products coming out of SAP bring value to their business".  Prasad Illapani

Register for SAP TechEd Las Vegas to attend Prasad's session, Data Acquisition for SAP HANA with SAP Data Services, familiarize yourselves with the SAP HANA roadmap, and connect with colleagues.

Some cool facts about the 2013 SAP TechEd locations:

Las Vegas - The first hotel and casino to open in Las Vegas was the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino in 1906.

Amsterdam - The Dutch are experts at keeping water away from their city. In fact when Katrina hit the U.S., they asked for the help of the Dutch to repair the levies in New Orleans.

Bangalore - Bangalore has the most number of gardens in a city. Hence called Garden City. Nearly 40% of Bangy's landscape is gardens/parks & 15% lakes/ponds.
