One of the most common complaints I hear about Fiori Launchpad is: "There are too many tiles, I don't want to scroll!"

The Fiori Launchpad (FLP) has tried to accommodate this with navigation by groups:

But this technique still only fits two or three groups on a mobile device before a drop-down appears. (ick)

I think the biggest problem is that most tiles don't have anything useful on them and are mostly filled with blank space:

The "My Paystubs" tile is basically a big empty box with the word Paystub repeated twice with an irrelevant icon.

Viewing the FLP on an iPhone 6 you can only see 6 full tiles!

However, if you look how at how an iPhone is arranged (iPhone 7 :wink: ) you can actually get 4 columns and 7 rows, for a total of 28 apps! (nice)

My thought is to take inspiration from Windows 10 and include micro tiles:

What do you think? Is there any other ways we could make better use of the space?
