Fiori App Error - "Could not open app. Try again later" :(

Dear All,

Now a days, SAP consultants are mostly concentrating on S/4 HANA Topics. As a functional Consultant, we could know at least basic's on the Technical side of the S/4 HANA.

In this Blog, we are gonna see, Fiori App activation in Fiori Launchpad.

Example App: "Manage Buffer Levels"

App ID: F2706

Version : S/4 HANA 1709



Step 1:

Access Fiori Library

(https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F2706')/S9OP )

 



Note Down the highlighted Path , OData Service, and Business Role (s)  specific to this Fiori App.





 

Step 2: Activate the service Path via T-code : SICF



Step 3: Activate the OData Services Via T-Code: /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE

Before Activation, Please check whether OData Services available or not.



 

Incase, OData service not available, Please follow the below procedure.



Then Click , "Add selected Services"



 

OData Services has been added successfully :).



 

Step 4: Add the user ID to the Role



Logoff the Fiori Launchpad and Login Again.

Click on the Fiori App 🙂
