This blog will be about bringing doctors/hospitals closer to epilepsy patients. You can find an introduction of the story at Epilepsy Monitor on HCP - Introduction
For Doctors/Hospitals we’ve created a SAPUI5 application. We’ve used the master detail template to see an overview of all the patients. This is also the place where doctors can register their patients and their medical information so their mobile app can send data to HCP (Java Servlet). (More info about the mobile app: Epilepsy Monitor on HCP - Patient Mobile App )
Comparable to the HTML5 website (which we have used in the app for the relatives), this Fiori application will also use XSOdata services and run on the HANA XSEngine in HCP.
This app shows all the patients and their general information. The doctor will also see when a patient is nearby a danger zone. A danger zone is a zone/area where Epilepsy patients are sensitive to get seizures. For example area’s with many flashing lights:
The doctor will also be able to see the location of the patient. But the doctor can also draw danger zones/areas on the google maps:
Just like the relatives, the doctor can see the current heart rate and the history of the past half hour.
We’ve also used this app for the challenge of the OpenSAP course: ”Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud”

With this blog we want to show you that you can use HCP for just building Fiori apps
