Usage of SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK for serialized products

Hi,

SAP standard report behind tx SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK does not work for serialized products. So basically in standard there is no way to correct inconsistencies between ERP & EWM stock for serialized products. From our perspective this function is a must-have also for serialized products. This, we are planning to implement Badi /SCWM/EX_ERP_GOODSMVT_EXT like suggested by SAP in note 2410622 in order to solve the following scenarios:

- EWM has more serials in stock than ERP -> /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK should check ERP serial numbers for the given product, compare with EWM serial numbers and add the missing ones

- EWM has less serials in stock than ERP -> /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK should check ERP serial numbers for the given product, compare with EWM serial numbers and remove the ones from ERP which are not there in EWM

Does anybody have experiences implementing this Badi for the given purpose? Any other idea how to achieve the mentioend requirement?

....closing this ticket. In order to realize the process mentioned above, we have to remove procedure MMSL from the serial number profile in ERP. This means that ERP will not have the correct serial numbers in its table at a given point in time but (at least for our scenario) there is no need for this data in the ERP tables.
