TM Document Types in S4 Hana Public Cloud..

Hey Experts,

I am exploring Transportation management with SAP S4 Hana Public Cloud. The specific scenario I am configuring is External planning (Scope Item -6W1) with S4 TM as external planning system. There are standard Freight Unit type (SFU1) and Freight order type (SFO1) given in the Public cloud system. 
I was wondering if I can configure my own Freight Unit types and freight order types in Public Cloud. I tried the Central Business configuration but could not find a place where I can configure the same.

Please let me know if somebody has configure these documents types in Public Cloud and if there is a particular role needed to have these configured.

Hi Nikhil,

it is not possible to create your own freight unit or freight order types in S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Thank you for your response.
That would mean that Freight Unit of type SFU1 would always be used for External TM planning (Scope Item - 6W1). Assuming somewhere in the Output Profile of the Freight Unit type, it is setup that it is to be sent out using the Generic Transportation service. 
Thereby I can have a specific Shipping condition similar to 05 for external planning but the Freight Unit type would remain the same.

Hope my understanding is correct.

Hi Nikhil,

yes, your understanding is correct. Freight Unit Type SFU1 is always used for external TM planning. However, you can have different shipping conditions that create freight units of this type so that the freight units are communicated to the external TM planning system.

We come across a lot of scenarios from Business users which exist in On Premise/Private edition but not sure if same can be achieved in TM with Public Cloud as well. e.g. Procuring Company Code for Settlement posting across different company codes. 
Your input really helped, please feel free to share any links that would further help in analyzing the TM capabilities with Public Cloud.
