The CVC creation problem

Hi,

We have one MPOS with 3 character. When I try to create CVC, it is accepting the values for all the 3 character & shows as its created. But when I go to display CVC then one of the character shows blank. Even in planning book I am not able to select that particular character. Strangely it is happening only in one of the landscapes(Quality). In other landscapes (production, development) it is working fine. How this can happen? Is there any MPOS level setting we need to do?

I tried the same with file upload option as well. But same results. The version is SCM 7.2

Hi,

Kindly check the validity of the values that u r giving in the CVCs with the master data in ECC/R3.

What is validity? The Demand Planning CVC is APO specific. What is the relation with ECC?

Hi Yogeesha,

Please try planning object structure consistancy check.

Kindly also click the "Adjust time seriese" check box while creating CVC, if not checked please use the livecache cons check.

Please let us know the result

Ran MPOS and time series consistency checks. All the consistency checks are green.

Hello Yogeesha,

Could you plz try one thing.

Go to /sapapo/mc62 and click on display CVCs

and in the Slection Condition give the characteristics value   for that particular characteristics which is not being displayed.

If no values are displayed then try putting * in that selection and try if the values come or not.

Please update what is the behaviour.

Hi Anurag,

I am not getting any values for that character. All the created CVCs has blank values for this character. The * fetching all the CVCs of the MPOS. All the consistency checks on MPOS are green.

Instead of * now try giving the value in the input selection field like *abc* if abc is one such CVC.

See if that particular value is displayed or not.

Or Searching with *abc*  in the selection condition in /sapapo/mc62??

On searching with *abc* what did u get???
