There's a requirement to assign the special stock partner (SB) at the ship to party level when doing customer consignments. The client requires to see customer consignment stock at the outlets for their chain customers. In the standard partner determination setup, special stock partner function is only allowed at the CUST account type, but not for SHPT (ship to accounts). Is there any way we can get the special stock partner assignment at the ship to level.
Hi Minoli,
One option is to create a custom account group ZSHP that has partner det procedure CUST and a different partner grouping (if you want a different number range), so that it can be assigned the partner function SB. This would allow you to maintain separately ship-to parties from regular sold-to parties given their different account groups, and also accomplish to have the ZSHP customers as special stock partners.
One more choice, and the simplest, is to define the additional ship-to parties as sold-to parties, maintaining only their shipping data, and that way they can be assigned as ship-to parties to their corresponding sold-to parties and also assigned the partner function SB.
