SNC alert email not triggered

I did set the email alert notification profile and also confirmed the mail server settings in T code SCOT are maintained. I can see the email alert in table /SCMB/ANOTPLOG in SNC but when I checked SOST Tcode I could not find any email transmission entry.

What could be reason for email not getting sent from SNC to user's mail boxes and is there any option to test the settings in SCOT if they are correct?

Hi Sandhya,

During the time of alert generation, user should be assigned to the BP of that location. otherwise mail will not trigger to user. If user is having can be snc user of role then check what was the BP assignment of the user during the alert generation.
