SEM BCS. Subsequent Consolidation without minorities

Hi all,

We have a problem with the subsequent consolidation in SEM BCS.

Our settings in Location of Values are the following:

- Read Investment data from :Additional Financial Data

- Read Equity data from :Totals Database and Additional Fin Data

- Read Equity Holdings Adjs from :Additional Financial data

In our scenary we have two companys. The matrix has a sharing percentage over the subsidiary of 100%. This percentage has been entered into the system in the aditional financial data of the first consolidation (period 1).

The result that we obtain in the execution of the CI task is:

- Period 1: First consolidation runs correctly

- Period 2: We haven't entered additional financial data, and the system execute a subsequent consolidation for the profit of the subsidiary company. We don't espect any documents but the system generates one that reclassify the profit to minorities.

Thanks in advance

If the ownership/investment is split between cons units/companies, these should be in different cons groups to allow for separate accounting technique assignments. Then the resulting postings may include minority interest at the lower level cons groups, which should be reversed at the higher level cons group.

If that is not the case, please provide more details.

Hi Dan,

We have only two companies in this version, the matrix who owns 100% of the subsidiary company.

So we don´t have minority interest but the system post a document, show 0% and do a reclassification of the subsidiary profit to minority interest.

I don´t know how to inform the system that the percentage is 100%, we thougt it was only necessary in the first consolidation in previeus period.

Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for being so fast,

I think we resolved the problem.

The problem was that we delete all the infoproviders and delete the carryforward documents (our first period was 12 of FY07) so the system couldn't find the first consolidation document and its percentage.
