Hi All,
Has any one tried Data basis generation with Info Object catalogs? If yes, have you used custom Infoobject catalogs or the SAP delivered one 0SEM_BCS_CHA04?
How does it affect data stream upload performance?
Thanks
RJ
Hi we are using ECC & BCS 6.0, in the load from data stream we have created 2 conditions & 2 moves ( 1 for total DRs & one for total CRs) for each key fig, GC, TC, & LC as we are using the Input Type Periodic rather than Cumulative but the system only seems to be bringing the values of the first condition & move rather than the subsequent Condition & Move - I wonder if anyone else was experiencing the same or managed to get around.
Many Thanks

Hi RJ,
I used 0SEM_BCS_CHA01.
Don't think it affects performance. IMO, it just allows choosing additional infoobjects during configuring data load methods.
Best regards,
Eugene

Hi,
AFAIK, the main factor that affects performance is a number of FS items in the system. Think, that a number of subassignments matters too.
Additionally, a complex mapping in data stream method also may worsen performance. I'm trying to read data from data stream from the cube that is as far similar to the BCS cube as possible (mapping is 1:1 for almost all fields).
Best regards,
Eugene
