Whenever we are trying to fetch account assignment data for Order and WBS element in EWM from ERP, we are getting time out dump.

Can anyone suggest me what could be problem?

Hi Omar,

as stated in my previous reply - regarding the number range(s) for orders please check with your functional consultants in PE, PM, CO,... streams - they can tell you the used order categories with used order types and hopefully distinct number ranges to limit the amount of numbers.

Similar for cost center and WBS elements, as they should have somehow implemented a logic to destinct between different countries, areas and so on...

Regarding the timeout - there is system paramter "rdisp/max_wprun_time" for maximum runtime for online processes - check with your basis team the actual value. Nevertheless you should run this program in batch mode/background with different variants for your different number ranges, as background jobs does not run into time out.

You won't find any change pointers - this is a very simple program in EWM to call the AAC determination in ERP system based on account category and number range table:

Hi Onkar,

try to limit the selected objects by number range or start with single orders/objects to check if the interface to ERP system is working in general.

Also consider to run this program as background job (SM37) with respective variants, as there could be different time out settings setup for online/background processing (RZ10/RZ11 system parameters).

Hello Chris, Thanks for responding.

When we tried to pass single object or range of object, then its working.

But when we try without that then its not working.

We have tons of Work orders and WBS elements in our ERP system. Hence we cannot put range to fetch it.

We need to run this report by keeping it blank and fetch all valid cost objects to EWM.

Do we have any solution for this?

Also if new cost object gets introduced in ERP and we want to transfer only this cost object to EWM then how can we do this ? 

I dint find any change pointer program for this.
