Satistical object cost collector is sap public cloud

Dear all

we are currently implementing S/4HANA cloud public edition.

WBS (PS) is the main Cost/Revenue object used in the designed solution. But our client needs also to track the costs of construction machinery used in the sites.

So we need to allocate the costs to WBS as a true object and additionnaly to a statistical object : it used to be the statistical internal order in S/4.

As mentionned in Note 2724606, internal order functionality is no more supported :

The request is : What statistical object can be associated to WBS ?

Hi,

in general, with S/4HANA Cloud, the Enterprise Projects (EPPM) represent the successor of the internal orders.

The request is : What statistical object can be associated to WBS?
In general, you can create an enterprise project with the project profile "Statistical project", wherein the WBS element will be used as a statistical account assignment object and the true costs will be posted to the cost center.
If you are looking to use enterprise projects with the profile "Project with revenue", a possibility (this is not a best practice process) would be to use service orders, as WBS elements maintained in a service order act as a statistical account assignment object.
