SAPAPO/RDMCPPROCESS allocates all CPU ressources of SAP R/3

Hi everybody,

We have upgraded one month ago from SCM4.0 to SCM7.0.

Our SCM7.0 is connected to one R/3 4.7.

Since we have upgraded, we have every night (during APO batch processes) a problem on SAP R3:

--> The SAPAPO/RDMCPPROCESS allocates all CPU ressources of SAP R/3 ...

We have checked the NDV2 transaction and we see that the SCM7 parameter is not available, then we have a parameter that does not correspond to the APO vertion we run!

(some answers already exist here: )

Concerning the performance problem, the wrong NDV2 parameter (we can only set 5.0) can be the cause?

Do you have encountered this R3 CPU saturation du to APO informations sent by the CIF?

Thany you

Emmanuel

Hi!

If you have ECC 4.7 you cannot use all of the functionalities of the SCM 7.0. This is why you cannot set it as 70, only 50 at /NDV2.

You would be able to set it as 70 if you had ECC 6.0.

Try changing to Inbound Queues in /CFC1 and in /SAPAPO/C2.

Then re-test your issue.

Are you using the Inbound or Outbound Queue Manager ? SAP reccomends using the Inbound Queue Manager for better performance (/SAPAPO/C2 in APO and CFC1 in ECC).

If you use a Server Groups while registering Inbound/ Outbound Queues, you can specify Maximum number of Work Processes and other parameters. Your BASIS resource should be able to help.
