Hi All,
During my SAP IBP 300 training, I came across an option to upload the data to IBP PA using sftp.
Can some please help me with the link or the document to do this setup where I can upload the data extract from CSV file to SAP IBP using sftp. I have attached the pic where i have highlighted the option used for data upload to IBP.
Thanks in advance
Adam
That slide is a bit misleading.
Depending on the content you want to load, you have different options
The most likely scenario is to load master or transactional data to time series (TS) based planning, in which case you use CPI-DS, which then can call an SAP system directly, you can use a web service or use an RFC call. In case you have only to load the data very seldom, you can use the WEB UI to load data manually
In case you want to load to order based planning, you have to use SDI.
And then there are the special scenarios like loading to and from Ariba, SAC, loading NPI etc, where you have special techniques.
But loading key figures or transactional data to TS planning is bound to web ui & CPI-DS

Hi Adam,
You cannot integrate file content of SFTP into IBP directly. But you can setup SFTP with CPI-DS agent and construct the Data Flow for SFTP to IBP. It would work.

I would bet the only workaround is to sftp the file to a i.e. linux server, and there, with an CPI-DS agent, map the file as a data source for an integration flow into IBP. That works for sure.
