SAP APO: Heuristic or Deployment query

Hi All,

We are using block dates at receiving location, hence heuristic is creating orders in next future bucket (05.01.2020) based on demands during block dates.

Lot size type - Weekly and period -1.

Block dates from 25.12.2020 until 05.01.2020.

Now heuristic is creating order on 14.12.2020 (Monday) and next order is created on 05.01.2020 (it covers demand in block dates).

Now the requirement is to create receipts on 14.12.2020 covering all demands until 05.01.2020 (pull the orders into Dec 2020 instead of pushing to Jan 2021).

Please let me know how it can be achievable through heuristic or deployment.

Hi,

Heuristic will not fulfill the future demand in previous buckets.

It should be a manual activity to adjust the receipt elements to adjust your block dates planning.

Thanks for reply. Even our client is doing it as manual correction and they raised concern if this can be achievable from heuristic or deployment with some parameter changes.
