Process Chain could not be scheduled and terminated with Returncode 8

Hi,

When i scheduled a process chain, the following message is showed:

"Job BI_PROCESS_SCM_DP010 could not be scheduled. Termination with returncode 8

(Message no. RSPC065)."

The returncode 8 means: Error when scheduling job (JOB_SUBMIT).

I checked su53 and i have authorization.

you need to activate the process chain before scheduling it. please activate the chain if you did not

earlier I had a similar issue where I could not schedule the chain (not the same error message though) then I deleted just the Start Process and again recreated it and linked to the other processes. It worked well for me. Please try to delete and create a new start process.

Hi,

I tried delete the start process, but didn't work too. (Shows the same error).

I'm creating this process chain for the first time, that is a new process chain.

I will post it in the BI forum too.

please check the OSS note 947690 and check if you have the recommeded settings done
