Hi all,

is there the possibility to programm in SAP Field Service Management? So to build custom screens and embedded it? Or to build mash-ups?

Thanks and regards

Hi Deborah,

could you elaborate a bit further on the area and use case?

Mobile App for technicians on iOS / Android? Web Interface for Schedulers? Online Self-Service for customers?

Best regards
Tobias

Hi dalbrecht

From what you describe it looks like the smartforms in FSM would be an ideal solution. With the Smartform designer you can build custom forms (screens) for the technician to follow instructions and capture data. These forms can be viewed and filled in both iOS, Android and Windows offline applications. The data captured can be accessed by or sent to your IoT platform.

Some information regarding Smartform Designer you can read here: https://docs.coresystems.net/modules/knowledge-management.html

Regarding information how to access or get the data please refer to the guides about API (https://docs.coresystems.net/api/introduction.html) and Business Rules (https://docs.coresystems.net/admin/business-rules-notifications.html).

Kind Regards,

Friederike

Hi @tobiasst

we want to display and edit data out of an own developed IoT platform. In the IoT platform that is developed based on SAP Cloud Platform, there are data on equipments and single components saved. And the FSM iOS app is the screen for the technician to work with the service order. Our use case would be that the technician should there, in the FSM app, state in a custom mash-up / screen if a single component was exchanged or not. This information is needed in the IoT platform to reset triggers for monitoring or predictive/preventive maintenance.

However, if our technician probably don't use the iOS app anymore, and we eventually switch to Microsoft surface - the Web Interface would be as we interessting - if there it is possible to programm / extend.

Best regards
