Dear Experts,
Can anyone explain rescheduling horizon in mrp group and tolerance value under same. What is use of it
Hello @Suryansh_jain
Rescheduling horizon defines how far into future MRP looks to reschedule supply elements, e.g. purchase requisitions, purchase orders, planned orders, production orders etc.
Rescheduling is a process of adjusting dates of supply elements so they are in sync with demand. MRP tries first to cover the demand with existing supply elements by rescheduling them. Only after that MRP creates new supply elements.
Supply elements are only rescheduled if the required dates changes are larger than the tolerances.
That is of course a simplified description - check the F1 documentation for all three fields.
