Maintenance of Delivery Priority in IBP R&S / Order-based

Hi Expert,

We need to define a demand prioritization profile for the Forecast segment and using the attribute of Delivery Priority to do a sequence.

However, when creating unrestricted forecast (FORECASTUNCONSTR), the attribute Delivery Priority this is always set with the value "00". What's the way to maintain this attribute for the forecast?

Dear Dagoberto,

please check consulting note 2633495 - Demand attributes in IBP for order-based planning (pdf - document).

Basically you need to follow these steps:

Enhance SAP7 template planning area

• Copy SAP7 planning area template
• Include attribute delivery priority
• Create a new planning level, e.g. PERPRODLOCPRIO
• Assign relevant key figures to the new planning level + adjust key figure calculations

Settings for Order-based planning

• Maintain Sales Order Field Assignments
• Create OBP planning level (include Delivery Prio)
• Maintain Forecast Consumption Profile
• Use attribute in Demand Prioritization Rules
• Maintain the MDT and the planning objects
