Infocube realignment

Can anyone throw some light on the option of having Infocube Tab in the transaction /SAPAPO/RLGCOPY. Thanks in advance.

MD doesn't get created in info cube via realignment.

Hello,

It exist to able you to realign the data inside an Infocube.

When realign for livecache only, the same data on infocube will not be realign, so to use the transaction also for infocube datas, there is this option.

Hope it could clarify why there is this tab.

One clarification:

In normal realignment without taking info cube into consideration, if the target CVCs are not there, the system would create them and then transfer the data. But in info cube realignment, the master data should already be present in the cube for getting realigned, is it right?

If so, then, this option of info cube realignment is only to change the transactional figures in the info cube. New master data neither gets inserted in the cube nor the existing master data (CVCs) gets changed by any means in the info cube because of info cube realignment. Hope my understanding is right...
