Hi,

I am running a demand sensing model. Everything looks running okay, but I noticed in the business log, I am recieving for each planning objective a warning saying "not enough data to find weekly pattern".

Does anyone know why am I recieving this warning and how should I check and resolve it? Many thanks!!!

  • I am using lag-based snapshot for demand planning snapshots
  • To make the testing easier, I have changed the snapshot key figure to all editable
  • I have overwrote the snapshot keyfigure, as well as sales history/delivery for the last 2 years.

I am struggling with the same issue. I am using inputs as suggested by SAP , and there is enough snapshot data i.e around 2 years.

Did you able to find out the root cause, if yes, can you please provide some input.

Unfortunately not much help from SAP help for troubleshooting

Appreciate your help

Appa

Hi,

One possibility can be related to this:

"The main input to Demand Sensing is always 'REQQTY' or 'CONFQTY' KFs in the SAP6 Model. So, please use these as the main input in your forecast model. These are at Day/SalesOrder level."

However, the root cause may vary.

Best,

Ivan
