Dear Experts,
We are currently in the process of implementing the new S/4HANA system, and part of this implementation involves the integration of Hazardous Substance Management.
The requirement is to conduct HSM Checks at EWM, with a specific focus on operations in the USA. To my knowledge, the HSM functionality is currently tailored to support operations in Germany.
We need to ascertain if 3E will be able to provide the necessary content data for this implementation !!!
Your prompt response on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance !!

Hello
first: do you know what "regulations/legislations" need to be supported for US to do use "Hazardous Substance Management." I am not aware of any US demand (now using EHS for a long time) regarding "Hazardous Substance Management" in combination with eWM.
And then we can check "3E" details (data will come ONLY on LIST_SUB Level !) Take care regarding the data model here; you need a correlation "Material" <> REAL_SUB <> Data e.g composition data etc.
For Germany: yes you are right: here the topic is clear (e.g. "water pollution" topic, etc.)
Second:
You will not find many eWM use cases (as discussion) here (in combination with "Hazardous SUbstance Management). This might indicate that eWM in combination with EHS classic (HSM) is not used often (even for germany.. there is not many discussion running here).
(here link to old SAP docu https://help.sap.com/saphelp_SCM700_ehp02/helpdata/en/ee/cbcb53ad377114e10000000a174cb4/frameset.htm)
So i am not sure if companies are using "HSM" for US in combination with eWM.
So sorry. I can not help you
