How to write a business rule for checklist (smartform) in FSM

Dear Team,

We have created a business rule for checklist the object type is ChecklistInstance which we have taken and defined the Variables, Conditions based on the service call type & Checklisttemplet.name then enabled it.

When we assigned the service call to technicians the checklist activity is not appearing in the technicians mobile app.

Kindly suggest the proper solution to create the business rule for checklist.

Thank You,

Sibi S

Hi Sibishake,

you could use SAMPLE rule "Update responsible person of all checklists linked to an activity when releasing the activity to technician"

This rule will assure that the responsible person of the checklist is updated when an activity is assigned and released to a technician. Same is valid for reassigning the activity and its checklists.

I hope this helps. If this is not the case, please provide more details about the use case, maybe give an example of the rule definition.

Thanks and regards,

Stefanie

Hi Sibishake,

thanks for the details of your rule. As far as I understand this is about action "Create Checklist Instance".

There is some very good documentation about this action. See https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_FIELD_SERVICE_MANAGEMENT/fsm_admin/create-checklist-instance.html

It is possible to Generate Checklist using Job. Please consider the note for this attribute.

Besides that please take care that the Checklist Template that you use exists.

Best regards,

Stefanie
