How to overcome the error CO_MES_INT004?

When trying to confirm a production order in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the following error occurs:

• Message no. CO_MES_INT004 : "Order ****** has been distributed to MES; Quantity confirmation not possible"

Is there any way to overcome this error?
