Hello Experts,
How to modify the activity area assigned already to a Storage Bin in EWM. We have a requirement assign a different Activity area to some storage bins. Please advice on the steps.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Hemant Kumar B

Hi,
so you need first to delete current bin sorting in /SCWM/SBST for TAPR and those 4 activities;
then reassign the sort sequence to new AA - DUCT as Manish posted above in step no.4;
then run /SCWM/SBST again and generate new bin sorting for DUCT.
Or you can upload bin sorting from excel file if there are any special requirements for sorting.
There is just rule that one bin cannot be assigned to more then one AA for a given activity. That's why it needs to be deleted first.
Petr
Hi Petr Zak,
Thanks for your reply. Can you please elaborate how to delete the existing Bin sorting on only one Bin(REC-MED) in /SCWM/SBST, because the selection screen in /SCWM/SBST has only Acitvity area and Activity fields. I do not want to delete Bin sorting of other storage bins.
Thanks,
Hemant
In my earlier screen the same bin was assigned to activity area "Test" now to delete and assign the same to different activity area (0150) follow the below screenshot(it is applicable for all the bin in the storage bin hence if you have more then one bin in the storage type where storage bin REC-MED then it is applicable for all storage bin (Step 1 deletion of existing bin sorting step 2 & 3 creation of new sort sequence and assignment to new activity area)
Manish and Petr,
Thanks a lot for sharing your expertise
