How to manually create the putaway WT in process oriented process?

Hello Expert,

I have a following inbound process using process oriented storage control.

first step: IPK1 - Pack

second step: IPT1 - Putaway

I have set the Auto. WT flag for step IPK1 to false. Now when I finish the packing in the work center and close the HU. The next putaway warehouse task is not generated. This is as expected.

Now how can I generate the putaway WT manually? I tried to use follow-on functions --> create warehouse task in /SCWM/PRDI but this does not work.

Thank's for the helps in advance.

Kind Regards,

Clark

Hi!

You can create WT in /scwm/adhu.

Find your HU and press Create+Save without WPT and dest. st.bin

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the information. And your suggestion is also consistent with the F1 help for the Auto WT flag.

By the way, do the know normally in which case the Follow-on Function --> Create Warehouse Task in Tx. /scwm/prdi can be used? I can not find any documentation on this part..

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Clark

Hello Clark,

We use /scwm/prdi to create a manual WT for putaway during GR.

Hello Olet,

Do you mean create a manual WT in /scwm/prdi when process oriented process control is not used?

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Hi Clark,

You can use following function in any process >>

1. Simple putaway >> GR >> Putaway or other way

2. POSC >> GR >> Step1 and step 2.

Now in POSC if you have steps, it is recommended to have auto wt for step 1 so that system will create auto wt for next steps, now if you dont want in this way then create WT via following function.

and for next step use mon and go to hu report and create wt and complete the putaway.

now if you want auto wt , then keep your putaway and rule based table updated for you step, at the same time update master data with proper putaway indi.

Remember for auto wt for next step, you have to close/complete packing step in work center.

check details tab of HU on work center when you do packing step.

Hope you will find above helpful. Please let me know if you have any query.

Hello Suraj,

Much thanks for the kind helps.

In Tx. /scwm/prdi and /scwm/prdo, we can use the button Follow-on Funciton --> Create Warehouse Task to create HU warehouse tasks. And I want to simulate this process.

For inbound process, I successfully test this in the process oriented process.

1. Create PO

2. Pack in EWM

3. Post goods receipt

4. Follow-on Function --> Create Warehouse Task

For outbound process, I have not yet figured out a test case. Do you have some suggestion?

Kind Regards,

Clark

Hi Clark

In outbound >>

create ecc del (with or w/0 ref)

EWM ODR >> ODO >> OD.

Simple >>

now ODO >>Follow in function>>Picking WT and confirm >> Then GI >> which will create auto OD.

or you can create OD first and then GI

And for complex >> you can have steps and you need to check wocr and packspec and then you can pick and PGI.

And prerequisites are to have good issue strategy and master data.

check document tab SCN EWM for systematic flow around above process. or check EWM 100 and EWM 110.

Hi Suraj,

Probably I have not make myself clear enough.

What I would like to do is in Tx. /scwm/pdo, when use Follow-on Function --> Create WT, I can have entries under Handling Unit tab, but not under Warehouse Request tab. Now I have troubles to test this scenario.

Thanks and Kind Regards,
