How to Delete ATP Orders from WUF?

Former Member

Hi All,

I have been trying to remove some obsolete products from the system. Before setting the deletion flag on them I am removing all the dependent data on these products. I am using WUF to identify the dependent data and removing it from the system. I am able to process all kinds of dependent data except for ATP Orders which are not getting deleted by any program.

I have used

4) Extract the GUID from /SAPAPO/RRP1 and delete using report /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS

5) Extract the GUID from /SAPAPO/OM16 using order number from WUF and delete using report /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS

I have tried all the above methods but I am still unable to remove the ATP orders.

I have read on this forum that some of you have been able to delete the ATP orders from system by removing their corresponding entries in table /SAPAPO/POSMAPN.

Any of you who have successfully used this procedure could you please guide me on how to do it and what report or method to follow?

If the consistency check report /SAPAPO/SDRQCR21 and /SAPAPO/CCR can not detect inconsistencies for sales orders, you should check in ECC system. These orders should be created in ECC system and you need to delete them from ECC system directly.

HI All,

I also faced similar issue, and did the procedure as explained by Marcos (above) using report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL, and the 2 checkboxes.

I was able to delete the required order & WUF was clear. Thus I could set deletion flag to the material.

Thanks a lot to All, for such useful threads !!!!

Also, what I observed was, many orders were deleted for the mentioned plant, but for other materials. In the input box of /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL, I entered the material & plant & checked those 2 boxes & executed the program. It took a while (almost 20 mins) & finally deleted the old orders.

But can you please tell, why the other orders (of other materials) got deleted here?

And also, what other data could have been deleted from DB?

Hi Aguduru,

According to SAP Note 1411359, here are some suggested solutions to deal with ATP Orders in APO:

Reason and Prerequisites

Transaction WUF displays ATP orders that cannot be deleted. In most cases, there are inconsistencies in the SCM system or the relevant order still exists in the liveCache.

Check to see whether the order is "Technically Completed", that is, whether the sales order has been delivered completely (all items) and no longer generates requirements. Check whether there are still entries in the R/3 table VBBE or in the liveCache (for example, transaction /SAPAPO/OM16, "Orders" tab page or "ORDMAP" tab page). The order cannot be deleted from the database in the SCM system until it has been deleted from the liveCache.

Run the following consistency report and correct any inconsistencies found.

Transaction /SAPAPO/OM17

Carry out a consistency comparison for product/location combinations and correct any errors found.

Report /SAPAPO/VS_CONS_CHECK (using transaction SE38)

Run the report with the indicator "TP/VS Shipping Data Table" and correct any errors found.

Report /SAPAPO/SDRQCR21 (using transaction SE38)

Run the report with the option "Build Requirements from Document Flow" and the indicator "Check SD Order Tables" and correct any errors found.

Report /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTAREPORT3 (using transaction SE38)

Run the report with the indicators "Sales Orders" and "Check Table VBBE" and correct any errors found.

If the ATP orders are stock transport orders (STOs), select the indicator for "Purchase Orders" and correct any errors found.

Report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL (using transaction SE38)

Run the report with the indicators for comparing ATP tables with /SAPAPO/POSMAPN and for deleting obsolete records in the table /SAPAPO/POSMAPN.

The report also checks and deletes MM documents (STO, STR).

Report ZZ_CORRECT_MMDOC_WO_POSMAPN (see Note 1348965)

Call transaction WUF and check again to see whether the ATP orders are still displayed.

Dear Aguduru,

please follow the steps in note 571031 for the deletion of a product.

Also please run the report /SAPAPO/VS_CONS_CHECK afterwards with the flag for "TP/VS shipping data table" and correct all inconsistencies.

Hi Tibor,

Thanks for your reply. However we do not use TP/VS sub module in our project. We are only using DP, SNP and PP/DS.

Hello Aguduru,

try running report /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL marking both flags:

"Reconcile Available-to-Promise (ATP) tables with /SAPAPO/POSMAPN"

"Delete obsolete records in the /SAPAPO/POSMAPN table"

Take into account that runtime can be long running the report this way.

also check note "SAP Note 894294 - /sapapo/sdorder_del: Performance and advice (as of SCM 4.0) ".

Hope this helps.

Kind regards.

Hi Macros,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I have tried some time ago with the SDORDER_DEL report but it was running for a very long time so had to cancel it. Any how I will try again. I will also check out the SAP note.

Hi Aguduru,

Did you able to delete the ATP Order in the system, as I need the same to do it in my project,

Please inform how ATP orders can be deleted from the WUF?

Thanks in advance,

An ATP order can normally be deleted in APO by rejecting or deleting the order in R/3.

The easiest way to delete many ATP orders at once is to inactivate the Integration model, and then use CCR to delete them enmasse

Once you begin to delete them one-by-one, from WUF, though, you need to use the steps outlined in the previous posts. In addition, don't forget to clean out all temporary qty assignments, too (/SAPAPO/AC06, 'Product availability' block, all four types).

I'm trying to delete product locations through WUF. I've deleted every single one of them clicking the hammer button and using Shift+F6 (previously flagged) except for one that says there's still dependent data.

I've used /SAPAPO/RLCDEL and deleted all categories and has worked before. I don´t know what else to use.
