Harmonized Document Management(HDM) for Purchase Requisition in S4 HANA

Hello SDN,

I have a requirement for copying attachments from Purchase Requisition to(Doc Type ZSPA and Status- Approved):

1. Request for Quotation (Doc Type ZAN)

2. Purchase Order(Doc Type APO)

Learnt that this can be achieved through HDM. I navigated to the path:

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > ABAP Platform > Application Server > Basis Services > Harmonized Document Management > Activate HDM for Attachment Object Type

I found the below object types:

PURCHASECONTRACT

PURCHASECONTRACTITEM

PURCHASINGQUALITYINFORECORD

Could not find any object type for Purchase Requisition.

Can someone guide me on configuring HDM for Purchase Requisition in S4 HANA?

Hello,

have you checked about necessary Notes like 3259476? That might be the reason you're not able to find an  object type for Purchase Requisition.

Thanks Julian,

I tried to create the program UDO_NOTE_3253615_TABLE_RECS as per the SAP note 3259476.

The code in the SAP note is truncated on the right, and is incomplete.

Trying to get the complete code and will execute once available.

Hello Julian , had checked for the implementations of SAP notes for S/4 HANA 2022. All are in place. Still the Purchase Requisition object is missing when we try create 'New Attachment Object'.

The table SAO_TYPE_DEF has the object PURCHASEREQUISITION, but still it doesn't appear when we try create 'New Attachment Object'.
