Goods issue in S/4 without using EWM for delivery note printout

We are using S/4 2022. I just want to confirm.

Delivery note cannot be printed without doing a goods issue in outbound delivery? is my assumption correct?

Why would it be printed before goods issue?

There might be a need to take out print in case of custom clearence.

As per SAP standard configuration in NACE - the delivery note is implemented with the LD00 output type:

The output type is assigned to the V10000 procedure without any requirements:

Thus LD00 can be determined for an outbound delivery even if goods issue is not posted yet.

Of course, your configuration might differ from the SAP standard.

Hi Dominik, thanks for the quick response, as per SAP Standard we should print the delivery note once the goods issue is completed but as you suggest we can get the delivery note If needed by above approach.

@AAkash1 what happens if there are changes to the delivery between the point of print and goods issue?
