FU assignment to FO in due to web service inbound processing

Hi all,

if I create a FO with web service inbound processing TransportationOrderGenericRequest_In, how can I assign FU to the FO? Is there any class or Badi which I can use? FU are available in the web service as a text and can be determined from the WS content. How can I assign these FU to the FO in the background?

Dear Michael,

I don't think this is possible, the items under the FO represent the FU's from your customer/other system. If there is really the requirement to have a FU's (I can't imagine any reason why you would need them, unless you want to consolidate cargo from other customers/systems) I suggest to use service TransportationRequestRequest_In. This will create a forwarding order which is the input for freight unit building and generates the FU's.
