My organizational requirement is that we need to maintain the credit limit at two levels. The first is, a in parent and child relationship at main company and its division level means whatever credit limit has been assigned by different divisions of the company will get sum up at the main company level. The second is at customer level where we have parent customer and child customer and if parent customer credit limit gets over then the system should block its child customer as well. We are S4 hana 1610 version. Pls help…
Hi Komal,
for your first requirement, can SAP credit segments be easily setup to represent divisions of your company? If so, you can use the credit segment configuration to define a main credit segment for the whole organization and then create as many segments as divisions (or group of divisions, based on your credit organization structure). When customizing each credit segment, you have the option to add contribution (i.e. business partner liability) to the main credit segment.
As for your second requirement, this should be automatically done if business partners are using relationships called higher and lower level credit management account of.
