EWM transfer stock from non EWM storage location to EWM storage location

How to transfer stock from a non EWM storage location to a EWM storage location within the same plant? Normally movement type 311.

Non EWM storage location to EWM storage location transfer is an inbound process from EWM perspective. When you post 311 transfer in MIGO, an inbound delivery will be created instead of a material document. SAP ERP standard configuration uses DIG inbound delivery here.

The delivery is distributed to EWM and creates INB inbound delivery there.

Then you follow with a regular inbound process in EWM.
