EWM Outbound Process – Consolidation of various HUs into one shipping HU (best practice)

Hi SAP EWM Gurus

We have the following requirements:

We pick from different areas into internal boxes (containers with a fixed HU number), which are then sent to the packing area. There the goods are packed into the shipping carton and the shipping HU is created. If there are several internal boxes for one delivery, these should be packed together so that we just send one parcel to the customer.

Our idea was to pick the goods with the RF scanner and then pack them using the Fiori app “Pack Outbound Deliveries”. With the Fiori app, however, we have the problem that we only see one HU at a time (and since we have pre-printed container HUs, we have no barcode with the delivery).

Now I ask myself, what is the best way to do this? Does SAP EWM have a different process in place? Of course, we could develop something, but I think I just miss something.
