Error for COM routine using application program (return code 40.134)

Hello Community,

when selecting data in a planning book following error message occurs by almost every CVC:

Error for COM routine using application program (return code 40.134)

Message no. /SAPAPO/OM102

I already tried the established consistency checks but without sucess:

/SAPAPO/PSTRUCONS - Consistency Check for Planning Object Structure

/SAPAPO/TSCONS - Consistency Check for Time Series Network

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK

Can somebody help with another tip?

I already look for several other comments and discussions in this forum but I do not find a solution except these mentioned consistency checks.

One thread came to a solution with bouncing the livecache-server: http://scn.sap.com/thread/421044

What is meant by bouncing the livecache-server?

My problem occured after the refresh of an APO consolidation system from a productive system.

Hope somebody can help!

Thanks in advance and kind regards

Heinz

Hello Heinz,

You'll have to deinitialize the planning area.

Please refer to note 1612107.

Hi Heinz,

If repair mode of the report /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK can do nothing, I'd suggest de-initialize and re-initialize the relevant planning area.

CAUTION: THIS WILL DELETE THE TIME SERIES.

Since any existing planning data will be lost, you will need to
backup the planning area data to a backup - infocube and then retrieve
it after the subsequent (re-)initialisation using transaction
/SAPAPO/TSCUBE, i.e. you reload the data from the back-up cube.

Hello,

Please check if the Planning Book planning start date is well inside the planning area initialization period.

If yes can you try de-initializing and re-initializing the planning area.

But make sure that you have your data back up because de-initializing may loose your data.

Please let us know your inputs.

Anurag
