Hi,

Is it possible to update the product code after creation in EWM? If so, then is it possible to do a mass update of the product code?

Hello Dan,

to keep the application in a consistent state, the product number (and the product GUID) cannot be changed once its created. If you check /n/sapapo/mat1 or /n/scwm/mat1 transaction, you can see the product number is a grayed out field not only in display but in change mode as well. MASSD also does not offer the field for modification.

Recommendation is to delete and re-create the products. (2002591 - Deletion of product in APO)

In SE16 or in a custom report / user exit (e.g. through CIF) you can override the number theoretically, but consider all consequences!
