Hi folks,
So far there was no tolerance in delivery document.
Hence more material was received and moved to warehouse.
GR is done in EWM with 120 qty but PO and Inbound delivery in ECC is of 100 qty.
Due to which there is failed queue in SMQ2 i.e system is not unable to communicate back to ECC.
Please suggest if any one of you have came across such issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
so I guess the question is: how to make sure that the tolerance is properly checked and not exceeded in EWM, yes? There was for sure a warning when the too high quantity was posted in EWM, but in the standard settings, there is no error.
The settings required are:
- the tolerance check indicator must be based on the PO (because it does not really help on delivery level). For this you have to activate the setting in ERP customizing (Logistics Execution --> SAP EWM Integration -> Extended Inbound Delivery Processing -> EWM Tolerance Check Indicator Based on Purchasing Document).
- the quantity role PQTOT must be active in your quantity offsetting profile on item level. Check the profile assigned to your item type. The standard profile is /SCWM/INB_PRD_DLV, in there this quantity role is inactive.
- the status type DTL must be active in your status profile on item level. The same, check the status profile assigned to your item type. In the standard profile /SCDL/INB_PRD_DLV_STANDARD this status type is inactive.
If you now try to exceed the tolerance, you will receive an error message in EWM already, so it can not be posted.

Hi,
sorting out the issue should not be a problem (remove the completed flag in the PO and trigger the queue). But why it happened I can not say. When I just tested, worked fine in my system.

Hi Jurgen,
Thank you so much for the extra help you gave me to make me understand !
All activities in EWM system are closed but in ECC system there is one inbound queue for inbound delivery confirmation in smq2.
when i checked and analyse i found PO is closed for the same inbound delivery .
Strange part is PO is closed even when the total quantity is not delivered, how it all happen?
How PO can get closed without receiving total quantity ?
As per my understanding system will only allow the inbound queue if the PO is open .
So now is there any way to sort out this issue? Any help on this will be highly appreciated.
thanks jurgen
