Custom parameter in TLB Profile

Hi,

We have defined a new parameter in TLB profile "Truck". we are trying to activate the BADI TLB_EXT. But as per our developers, this is not working and suitable. Do anyone used custom parameter in the TLB profile? How to use the above BADI to get the functionality of TLB planning on new parameter "Truck".

Dear Tibore,

We are using SCM 5.0 and the provided notes 710198 is applicable for SCM 4.1 only. What is the BADI that we can use for TLB custom parameters in SCM 5.0.

Tibor is right:

The note is valid for 4.1 AND subsequent... so still valid for you.

I can ensure you that it is the one.

However adding extra parameter to TLb is not always easy... are you sure you can't use the standard one?

what is your issue exactly?

Thanks for your response. our reuirement is we are using truck for transportaion with non palletised between production plants to DCs . We have the master data that for each product the maximim number of cases for a Truck. But as a whole we cannot maintain data that what are the maximum number of cases per Truck as it depends on the product case size.To achieve this,we maintained a UOM "Truck" and maximum no of cases per truck is maintained in the product master.I wanted to define the Truck as parameter and will define TLB profile as min 0.1Truck to 1.0 truck. Maintained UOM as truck in TLB profile. Hence we go for customised parameter TRUCK.

Is there any alternative way to map this?

Hi Akthat,

Please try the following:

1. Maintain the floorspot unit as truck, with bundaries 0.1 to 1.

2. Ensure that the SNP global setting (SPRO) consider product mix for TLB.

I think that should be the work. If not, please let me know what is the issue

I know this is an old issue, if you don't mind could you tell me which code did you put into the BADI? Because the SAP example is useless...
