Undoing the release was successful, and the first attempt at an Adjustment Confirmation of the Warehouse Order was successful, but the team was unable to Adjust the remaining Load lines of the Warehouse Order due to a “Action Failed -----> Serial number A1-97879 cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document” error.
Unfortunately they do not see any active document later than this and therefore cannot move forward. Sales Order 1343 Document Flow Extended View shows multiple Warehouse Confirmations that were successful. Outbound Delivery 956 Document Flow shows that all the Goods and Activity Confirmations have been Reversed.

Hi,
This error: Action Failed -----> Serial number A1-97879 cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document basically occurs due to two reasons. Check the below mentioned details.
Scenario-1: If you have performed a Goods movement and moved the stock from Target Logistics Area A to B. The Adjustment confirmation is from the Target Logistics Area A.
Scenario-2: Also if you have performed Goods movement and moved the stock from Target Logistics area A to B and again from B to A, and you still see from Stock Overview that the stock is residing in LOA - A.
Ideally when you perform the goods movement, GAC's are created and the active documents corresponding the serial number gets updated. Thus if you go to Undo Release the Inbound Delivery id , the document tagging will be still present for the GAC's and this prevents the adjustment.
Try to follow the below mentioned steps to resolve this issue,
Scenario-1: In order to solve the issue you need to perform a reversal of the Transfer Goods & Activity Confirmation created and then perform the adjustment Conformation.
Scenario-2: In order to solve the issue user need to perform a reversal of the latest Transfer Goods & Activity Confirmation followed by another Transfer Goods & Activity Confirmation created and then perform the adjustment Confirmation.
Note: The Transfer GAC Id's can also be found in the Registered Products Detailed inventory tracking as well.
This will prevent the error, For more details try to check the KBA reference:
