Dear experts,
Could anybody confirm from where is taken the Location-Source data in S4 to be integrated with IBP?
Is it from Vendor Source list?
And what about the Sourcing Ratios?
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards
Hi Juan,
SAP standard integration did not facilitate to transfer location source information from S/4HANA to IBP. You need to get the right information to align with IBP master data elements.
Material master MRP 2 view contains procurement type F (external procurement), E (In-house), X (Both).
If the material is F you can get the sourcing information from purchase info record and source list.
If the material is E (production) you can get the information from routing or PDS.
If the material is F and special procurement key stock transfer from another plant (Plant to DC) get the information from the table level.
For initial collection and transformation of SAP S/4HANA plants, customers, and vendors to IBP locations, you define the data you want to collect and transform on the selection screen of the transaction /IBP/ECC_INT_LOC. The only plants (and distribution centers) collected and transformed are those defined in the integration model via transaction /IBP/ECC_INT_MOD1.

Hi Juan,
Location Source for IBP is not straight pull from S4, but you can get that information from Purchase Info Records and using that information you can use CPI task to create Location Source.
