Can anyone please point me the link to APO technical documents.

Does APO Engine/LiveCache/Optimized need to be installed

separately or all can be installed in SAP box. What is the purpose of LiveChache and Optimizer.

you might get some details in

and check the overviews there for Livecache, architecture and other information

Youo can install the APO server, livecache and optimizer in the same box but it is not advised as you will see in the documentation
