APO SNP Hierarchies (Aggregates)

Hello Gurus:

I have setup SNP for Hierarchies at Product/Location.  I run a heuristic and orders are generated at the material level.  When I try to run the Location Aggregation, it says it is doing it, but nothing changes (no orders put at Aggregation level).  When I go into the Hierarchy at top level and change an order and then hit Location Disaggregation, I get this error.

Members for [plant] and [material] do not exist in model 000 and hierarchy [rels_lokationsprodukt]

Here are some details:

1.  We are on SCM 713, support pkg 1

2.  We have the prod location hierarchy setup, in addition to product hierarchy and location hierarchy.  All are assigned to active model 000.

3.  I am using an Aggregates SNP Planning Book which I created by copying SNP02.

4.  In SNP Administration, I have setup Aggregated Planning (2nd to last tab) for using Location Product Hierarchy Structure RELS_LOKATIONPRODUKT

So, I feel as though I must be missing one small obvious step here.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Andrea Fuschetto

Hi

Can you please check in /SAPAPO/RELHSHOW - Maintain Hierarchy if respective hierarchy is properly appearing as well as you can also check if it has been assigned to active model.

Thanks

Yes, my hierarchies are maintained in /sapapo/relhshow and all assigned to the active model.

Hi Andrea

I hope you have followed the below steps also

Define & assign members to location hierarchy

Definition of a generic dummy location group as header:

  1. Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Master Data --> Location

Create location HIERARCHY

Assign Hierarchy Location

  1. Advanced Planning and Optimization à Master Data à Hierarchy.

Check the location hierarchy in /sapapo/relhshow

Thanks

Thank you for the suggestion.  l had a hierarchy setup for Location with all my locations under it, but some of my locations were also under another location hierarchy setup by someone else.  Once I deleted theirs, it works now!

Hello,

First please make sure all location/products in the hierarchy are assigned to model 000. Check this in product master /sapapo/mat1 for all location products.

Please also make sure you have created the hierarchy correctly. Refer to note 1669699.

Hi Andrea,

Did you activate Business Function SCM_APO_HIER_AGG_PLAN in SPRO - Activate Business Functions?

Thanks.

Hello Marius:

I have it working now.  It is working without the business function activated, but then I activated the business function and it still works the same.

Do you know if this business function is needed or what it does?

SCM_APO_HIER_AGG_PLAN: Enhancements in Interactive SNP (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement for SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) 7.0, you can display pegging information in interactive Supply Network Planning (SNP). You can also choose between disaggregation methods in interactive Supply Network Planning.

Effects on Existing Data

The following user interface has been changed:

  • On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Network Planning -> Planning -> Interactive Supply Network Planning (all Books). If you enter a value for the Distribution Receipt (Planned) key figure for your header product, and press Enter, a new window opens with the following options for disaggregation:
  • Quota
  • BAdI
  • Demand Quantity
  • Receipt Quantity
  • Do Not Show Again
  • On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Network Planning -> Planning -> Interactive Supply Network Planning (all Books). If you click on a key figure with your alternate mouse button and choose Display pegging information, the pegging relationships are shown in a separate screen area.
