As you might know, we provide each quarter a new version of the SAP Best Practices for SAP Integrated Business Planning.
Besides the upgrade and test of the content and the technical assets based on the newest release, we enhance our scope with new topics and features.

Here the highlights for the 1911 version:

Updated scope items for demand-driven replenishment
SAP Integrated Business Planning for demand-driven replenishment supports an approach known as Demand-Driven Material Requirements Planning or simply DDMRP which redefines the way we think and act in supply chain planning.
In 1911 the scope items covering the end-to-end demand-driven replenishment process have been updated using the new planning operator for Average Daily Usage (ADU).

Enhanced scope item for time-series-based inbound integration with SAP S/4HANA
1902 came with a new scope item covering the integration between SAP S/4HANA and IBP for time-series-based planning. In every subsequent release, this scope item has been enhanced with additional extractors in the SAP S/4HANA add-on for IBP and with additional templates in SAP Cloud Platform Integration for data services. In 1911, extractors and templates for currency, exchange rate, production resource, and minimum production receipts have been added.

With these enhancements the following master data resp. key figures are covered with 1911:

Enhanced scope items for order-based planning
The order-based planning scope items have been updated using the Planning Run Profile for the prioritization rules. The planning run profile is a mandatory job parameter with settings that are independent of the planning area. These include profiles for demand prioritization rules, and rules for costs and maximum lateness.

Enhanced scope item IBP for response and supply – supply review – optimize
This scope item has been enhanced with a new planning view for cost rates. This provides a better transparency and allows to maintain non-delivery and late-delivery cost rates.

Driver-based planning functionality helps you to identify and monitor business drivers such as risks or opportunities that may affect the supply chain plan of your organization. It also helps you to evaluate the likely effects of these drivers, express these effects in key figure values, and consider the drivers in your supply chain plan.

NEW: S&OP License only
A new Tips and Tricks document titled S&OP License only describes which SAP Best Practices content you can use and how you can use it when you only have an S&OP license. This document is only available for partners.

Sample Model SAPIBP1 updates
SAPIBP1 has been changed by remodeling the inventory key figures adding Unit Of Measure conversion.
