Vendor Upload File in Ariba Network

Hello Experts,

I have a question regarding the use of vendor upload file in Ariba Network. Although we bulk upload the vendors in the Vendor Upload file in Ariba Network, we still need to invite the suppliers through the TRR (Trading Relationship Request) manually or through Quick Enablement. What exactly is the use of Vendor Upload File in this case, how is this data helping us in the Supplier Enablement process. 

Can someone please share your knowledge or experience around this?

Main reason for Vendor Upload file (VUF) to setup Enterprise account in SAP Ariba. I guess you can refer below video which explain why and how to use Vendor Upload file.

Hi Mridul,

Thanks a lot for your response! I am able to click on the link provided but couldn’t see a video loading (Cannot play the video). In the buyer network test account, I see I have all the required Supplier enablement roles to my test buyer network ID, after bulk uploading the vendors, I don’t see a way to trigger TRR on those vendors in the network without manually searching for them through their AN and Country through the Search for Suppliers option. Could you please tell, what am I missing here? The vendor upload file and the supplier enablement activities work differently in test and Production logins?
