Unable to create Bidder

Hi,

We are using SRM7.0, implemented Sourcing. facing problem while creating Bidder,

Login to Portal go to Supplier information-Select Bidder-Select Create Bidder, enter all the mandatory details and select save, following error messages observed

Organizational unit 00000000 does not exist; check entries

Error creating business partner's 'organization'. Inform system admin.

Error while creating organizational unit; inform system admin.

Error occurred while locking organizational unit 00000000

one thing i observed is when i click on Create bidder by default i see "Central Organizational Object for Bidder:" as 00000000

Not sure from where it is coming, i replaced it wtih Vendor Root and click on save i got the above errors

when i enter the Product category as 1 under Bidder data tab which is also coming as default and do not put any logica system and select save all the above errors gone and new error "Enter Logical system" observed, if i select correct P.category and Logical system again above errors observed.

Please let me know if any one of you face the same problem and resolved, share the solution.

I also have this strange message and no idea what customizing is maybe missing.

Hi,

Looks like this maybe a bug. Opening an OSS message with SAP will help.
