I am trying to attach a document to my Shopping Cart. Under the tab Documents and Attachments nothing happens when I select the Search and Add icon. This seems to be a problem with the PC settings. It works on some PCs in the office but not others. It does not seem to be a security problem, I can sign on as the same users under two different PC's, one works the other does not.
Anyone have any idea what setting is keeping me from attaching documents?
Hi
I don't know your system version and details.
<u>Couple of reasons can be behind this -></u>
Either your PC settings are not OK.
Or
1) Try to give full authorization(High) to the User role in BBP_WFL_SECURITY in SU01 Transaction and check.
2) It seems the Authorization object for attaching documents might be missing for your user role.
<u>3) Try to deactivate java applet in SRM SPRO .</u>
<b>SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Define Settings for Attachments
the flag "deactivate java applet".</b>
<b><u>Anyways, Also refer to the following OSS Notes as well -></u></b>
<b>Note 550071 - FAQ: EBP - Shopping Cart
Note 562889 - Limit shopping cart does not show attachment in inbox
Note 989184 - Transferred shopping cart with internal attachments
Note 670619 - BBPUSERMAINT: Display is limited to 20 hits
Note 824917 - Attachments for back-end items with services
Note 574435 - Incorrect attachment display for SC with several attachments
Note 574086 - Attachment is not displayed in shopping cart
Note 904084 - Shopping cart: Attachments in the back end w/o content

Note 825055 - Attachments for back-end items with services
Note 708230 - TIF attachments cannot be viewed
Note 394224 - Display attachments from status in the shopping cart</b>
Hope this will help.

Hi ED
If you deactivate Java applet, then you will not be able to use versioning, check-in and check-out functionalities of attachments. If you want these, then revert back to old settings.
Your problem is due to wrong Java version in some PCs. Pl check note 889701 to resolve your problem.
Best regards
Ramki
